Highlighted Projects
I enjoy working with innovative teams to create great mar/com campaigns. Here are a few more traditional and video marketing projects that have made up different components of some campaigns I have worked on. Click on the headlines below to see a larger version of the examples.
ER Video with Unique Perspective…from Kids!
We wanted to create a different look at our Emergency Department, so we decided to ask kids for their honest review. This video, mostly produced and edited by an external vendor (with some additional final edits by me) was the fun result!
Virtual Tour for the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children NICU and Labor/Delivery Units
The COVID-19 pandemic forever changed healthcare. For quite a while, we were unable to have visitors in our hospital, so providing expectant moms a tour of our NICU and Labor/Delivery Units was a challenge. With resources rightly focused on patient care, I had to be resourceful and ended up creating this virtual tour (scripting, as well as filming and editing with iMovie)!
Kroenke Sports/Pepsi Center Signage
For this project, we scheduled a photo shoot with hospital staff family and friends at the Pepsi Center and then worked with a designer to develop unique taglines that built on hospital branding and sports themes for promotion within Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche games.
Community Magazine
We worked with division/hospital leadership, physicians, staff and community partners to revisit content and design preferences for this semiannual community magazine that is published with different versions for each Denver area HealthONE hospital campus. Additional work was done to make the web version accessible.
Updated General Brochure
We worked together with internal teams and leadership across the hospital and with division to update a general brochure for the hospital. We took all that people liked from older collateral and updated it with new content.
General Brochure
After completing market research, we refined our main marketing collateral. We went from several brochures to one that could be used as a self-mailer and highlighted all of Braille Institute.
Annual Report and Invite
For this project I led planning and implementation with a team that included an external designer, photographer, and writer as well as internal teams to create both the report and coordinating annual meeting event.
:30 Commercial
We created this commercial (with regional versions) to run locally. As part of the project we shared behind the scenes footage and back stories from the students.
Library Bookmark
Our new Library Director wanted a piece that he could use in the community to promote key programs. This was a die-cut bookmark.
Outdoor Banners
This was an exciting project to introduce outdoor banners to help welcome students and update the community about construction efforts. Check back for more banner examples coming soon!
Highlighting A New Hospital
Together with Glendale Adventist staff and leadership, headed by Morre Dean, we introduced our new hospital to the community. Highlights included a tabloid size mailer and a postcard that shifted images depending on the angle.
Internal Staff Campaigns
One aim for Glendale Adventist Medical Center was to be recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work” in Los Angeles. Through campaigns managed jointly by Marketing and HR team, we achieved this designation several years in a row.
Print Ads
These ads were created with our corporate marketing team for local newspapers to highlight the Brandman Centers for Senior Care. They had to be submitted to government entities for regulatory approval, as well.
General Program Flyer
The Brandman Centers for Senior Care was a new program created to support a new market in the San Fernando Valley. This flyer was developed to cover legal requirements as well as program highlights.
Catalog Transition
This multi-fold self-mailer was created when we were asked to greatly reduce costs associated with a 48-page catalog while still supporting branding and the general spirit of the original piece.
Rose Parade Float
Thanks to relationships with the City of Glendale, we created a unique opportunity to highlight Glendale Adventist Medical Center programs on the city’s award winning 2013 Rose Float.
New Mover Direct Mail
This was a segmented and highly personalized campaign. We had versions based on age and each piece was personalized with its own personalized URL (PURL), map to the hospital and letter. Initial ROI was 4:1 for this effort.
Healthline TV Program
While at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, we created, promoted, produced and hosted Healthline, a weekly (now monthly) television show to highlight key programs and community partnerships.
Unique Direct Mail
This direct mail piece was printed on plastic so that when it mailed, people would be able to hold it to the light like a real x-ray. It secured great response and increased community awareness.
